Choosing the right fan size for your space is important to maximize not only comfort level, but also energy efficiency. If your fan is too small for the room, it won't move enough air for you to be comfortable. If the fan is too big, it could move too much air even on a low setting. Use the following table as a guide, based on the square footage of your space:
